MUSIC

Step into the vibrant world of the music department at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, where creativity knows no bounds. Over the past two years, our talented students have graced prestigious stages across the country, from the Roundhouse Studio Theatre to the iconic Royal Albert Hall. From the energetic atmosphere of the Wireless stage in Finsbury Park to the grandeur of Birmingham Symphony Hall, our students have left their mark on every venue they've performed in.

Beyond performance opportunities, our students have had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with industry luminaries, including grime artist Capo Lee, film composer Christopher Willis, and acclaimed composer John Rutter. They've also had the privilege of participating in industry mentoring sessions with manager Nick Worthington, whose portfolio includes The Streets, J Hus, and Zara Larsson.

But it doesn't stop there! Our students have immersed themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of London's music scene. From attending concerts at the Barbican and Kings Place to upcoming plans for a trip to Garsington Opera, our students are constantly expanding their horizons.

Our students also hone their skills in professional studio settings, including sessions at Ten 87 studios, LSO studios, and Progression Sessions. These immersive experiences provide invaluable hands-on learning opportunities and prepare our students for the dynamic landscape of the music industry.

Students put their musical talent on display at the Jackson Lane Arts Centre in March 2024.

At LAET, we believe in nurturing the next generation of musical talent and providing them with the tools, opportunities, and guidance they need to thrive in a competitive industry.
