Our Curriculum
The curriculum offers only facilitating or ‘hard’ A Level courses, in order to give students the opportunity to progress to top universities. The curriculum consists of Art & Design, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Drama, Economics, English Literature, French, Further Maths, Geography, History, Maths, Music, Philosophy & Religion, Physics, Politics, Psychology and Spanish. Students can also take Arabic, Italian and Turkish as well as the Core Maths qualification.
All students have the opportunity to choose four A Level subjects, with a further option of the Extended Project Qualification. The majority of students continue with four courses until the end of Year 12, then study three in Year 13. A limited number of students may drop to three qualifications earlier in Year 12 and around 1/3 will continue with four subjects to the end of Year 13.
